Learn To Lead is a free, six-week training to help those considering service on a nonprofit Board of Directors. Participants will learn the basics of board service and leave the program feeling confident when asked to join a board for the first time.

- Week 2 – Tuesday, August 11
- United Way overview with Mary Kay Wolf and Connor Glassen, and Community Needs with Liz Evans
- Week 3 – Tuesday, August 18
- Executive Director panel with Anne Gordon of CASA for Kids, Ann Kappauf of New Horizons Shelter & Outreach Centers, and Hetti Brown of Couleecap
- Week 4 – Tuesday, August 25
- Nonprofit financials with Wade Hackbarth and a discussion on board ethics
- Week 5 – Tuesday, September 1
- StrengthsFinder Assessment with staff from Western Technical College’s Business & Industry Services
- Week 6 – Tuesday, September 8
- Board Match Event with staff from area nonprofits
