Nourishing Futures is Great Rivers United Way’s no-cost nutrition program for prenatal and postpartum individuals. Program staff will get to know participating families, and help overcome challenges (like picky eaters, limited time, lack of cooking tools, and more) that may be a barrier to making healthy meals at home.
Nourishing Futures consists of 4 to 5 sessions that take place in person at participants’ homes and over the phone, and includes a budget for ingredients and equipment to prepare a nutritious meal the whole family can enjoy again and again.
