Organizations can sponsor staff as CHW apprentices through Wisconsin’s Registered Apprenticeship program.
  • Step 1: Contact Your Apprenticeship Training Representative (ATR) online here.
    • Reach out to your local ATR through the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD). They will guide you in setting up your apprenticeship program and help ensure it aligns with state requirements.
  • Step 2: Identify Great Rivers United Way as your PRI provider.
      • When you register as an Employer Sponsor, please indicate Great Rivers United Way as your Paid Related Instruction (PRI) Provider.
